What Keeps You Afloat?
The personal flotation devices, stuffed with Kapok, a naturally buoyant fiber, were created by Susan Harrison and serve as a metaphor. Harrison asks people to wear them and then answer the question "What keeps you afloat?" The answers are added to their portraits with the help of a green screen and Adobe Photoshop.
